Konami stosunkowo późno sprowadziło młodego twórcę remake'a Metal Gear Solid na Ziemię, delikatnie sugerując, że nie może niestety wydać swojego dzieła przez prawa autorskie. Nie znaczy to jednak, że projekt całkowicie umarł, co raczej... zmienił się w coś innego. I zawiera Davida Haytera!
Znany z wcześniejszych newsów fanowski remake Metal Gear Solid zmienił się w The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid. Czym będzie? Najprościej mówiąc, wirtualnym muzeum, które będziemy mogli oglądać z perspektywy pierwszej osoby, odwiedzając najważniejsze lokacje Metal Gear Solid. Tym razem nie będziemy musieli się skradać.
W wirtualnym muzeum znajdziemy również najlepsze grafiki oddanych fanów serii. Produkcja jest w pełni non-profit, będąc pewnego rodzaju darem od fanów dla.
Na chwilę obecną The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid zostało zapowiedziane na PC. Możemy spodziewać się wsparcia dla technologii VR. Dodatkowo sam David Hayter, aktor głosowy Snake'a, jest zaangażowany w projekt. Premiery możemy spodziewać się w maju tego roku. Poniżej zwiastun.
Born from the ‘Shadow Moses’ project, The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid is a first-person experience allowing fans the opportunity to revisit some of the most emblematic MGS levels. There will be no need for stealth this time around. The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid will feature many pieces of amazing fan art from devoted lovers of the series and our collaborators. As an unofficial, non-profit production, the project is a gift, from the fans, but also addressed to the fans; to share our affection for the seminal franchise. We are delighted to announce that the project, available for PC, will feature VR support.We can also reveal that non-other than the legendary David Hayter will be involved in the project, which we are overjoyed by!
